What makes the Dawg Ball experience different and more worthwhile from any other camp is we limit our camps to only 10 participants. This is to ensure we can have significant one on one contact with each camper, making the teaching more individualized to each attendee. Most camps are open for 30+ attendees where there is essentially no individualized attention. In addition, we focus on natural human movement. We are not a "one size fits all" operation. Please scroll down to read more about our different age appropriate camp options!
What also makes us unique is we provide a journal to each camper to help encourage a more impactful learning environment. We provide a lot of easy to digest information, and we want the campers to retain as much as they can! The mental side of the game is important to us as well. We will have conversations with the campers about mindset, dealing with failure, life choices, and overall competitiveness (aka being a DAWG). Please scroll down to see the CHORES acronym that our Mindset Development Director, Tyler Burmeister, utilizes with our campers!

The Youth Sluggers Camp is a FUN experience to grow the kids understanding and LOVE for the game, specifically hitting. We will focus on the basics, utilizing drills that encourage the boys bodies to self-organize in natural, athletic ways! Most importantly, the boys will be encouraged to hit the ball hard and on a line every time! Now more than ever we need to encourage kids to have fun while they learn! Expect a lot of competition, smiles, laughs, and improvement along the way!
A fun, athletic focused camp, where we allow the boys bodies to self-organize in efficient, low effort ways with the drills we utilize. In this camp, expect to gain more of an understanding of 1) Set-up in the batter’s box, 2) anchored lower half, 3) and bat to ball skills. Each camper will be encouraged and challenged to hit the ball hard and, on a line, every time! "Become a good hitter first and let the power come" is a staple of this camp. The most important skill you can learn at a young age is barrel accuracy. Let us help you develop that skill!
A fun, action packed, advanced camp. This camp will focus on finding the most efficient movements for each hitter, where they are using the least amount of effort. In this camp, expect to gain more of an understanding of 1) bat path, 2) bat speed with accuracy, 3) and direction. This camp will also focus on plan and approach, so we can be one step ahead when facing pitchers with “different weapons.” You will be coached like a pro in this Dawg Ball Camp!
